Alternatively, place a cloth or sheet of baking paper between the iron and the print as a protective barrier.
What to Avoid
To get the most out of your DTF print and extend its lifespan, avoid the following:
✗ Dry cleaning
✗ High-heat washing or drying
✗ Direct friction on the printed area
✗ Excessively stretching the print
Expected Durability
When cared for correctly, you can expect:
✓ Colours that stay vibrant over time
✓ Minimal cracking or peeling
✓ Garments that retain their shape and finish
Improper care — particularly exposure to high heat or harsh chemicals — may lead to premature fading or print damage.
Why Care Instructions Matter
DTF prints are robust, but they still benefit from the right handling. The adhesive and ink layers that make DTF so detailed and flexible can be affected by excessive heat, rough washing or chemical exposure. By following these simple steps, you protect your investment and ensure your Custom 44 printed garments continue to make an impression for as long as possible.
